The Victoria Tote bag pattern makes a great tote for all your sewing and knitting needs, as well as a beautiful travel bag!  This project uses mostly felted wool, which can usually be found at your local fabric store.  Finished size is 21" x 14".

Materials Needed:

• 7/8 yd brown floral upholstery fabric for back, straps, & front accent
• 1/2 yd green stripe upholstery fabric for straps and front accent
• 1 yd green floral upholstery fabric for lining, pocket, and cover for baseboard
• 1 yd thin cotton batting
• 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" gold wool for applique block
• Scraps - red, purple, green, dark blue and light blue wood for applique
• Scraps of coordinated wool and upholstery fabric for two 16 patch blocks.  You will need thirty-two 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" blocks.
• #11 Straw needles
• #24 Chenille needles
• 100% cotton thread or 50/50 wool thread for applique
• 6" x 6" overdyed muslin for label
• 02 Pigma Pen
• Freezer paper
• 12 antique buttons for embellishment
• 1/4" thick piece of wood for baseboard measuring 4 1/2" x 19 1/2"
