The Veronica Pocketbook pattern is fully lined with 2 inside pockets and has a flap closure secured with Velcro. Finished size is 9"W x 7"H.
Materials Needed:
- Fabric: 4 coordinating fat quarters, 1 each for cover, lining, inside pocket and side panels/flap closure/handle tabs. (Can also use 4 - 1/3 yd cuts from the bolt. You may also need one more fabric for your handles. Don't use directional print fabric.
- Handle: Buy an additional fat quarter or 1/4 yd from the bolt of fabric
- Batting: use a thin, low loft batting. You will need one piece about 12" x 21" AND one piece 3" x 5"
- 1" piece of sew-on Velcro for flap closure or closure of your choice
- One button for flap decoration
- Optional: Bag-E-Bottom from Lazy Girl Designs or plastic canvas 3 3/8" x 8 1/2"
