The Traveler's Tote pattern is a roomy bag that comes in 2 sizes with stitched corners that add stability and style.  Finished size is: LARGE TOTE - 11 1/2" x 14" x 4.5" and SMALL - 8 1/2" x 11" x 2".

Materials Needed:

• LARGE TOTE: 1/2 yd for tote side and bottom
• 3/4 yd for for contrast trim, straps, & lining
• Interlining: we used one layer of canvas and 2 layers of stiff interfacing for the front, back and bottom.  We used one layer of canvas for the straps.  Other options include using 2 layers for fusible fleece for the tote body and straps.
• Steam-A-Seam - 2" - 1/2" wise fusible tape
• SMALL TOTE: 1/4 yd for tote side and bottom
• 1/4 yd for sides and bottom
• 1/3 yd for contrast trim, corners, and straps
• Interlining: We used one layer of canvas for the front, back and straps.
