The Sweet Delight Drawstring Tote bag pattern is a great pieced small tote and can be constructed using hand or machine quilting. Finished size is 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" tall.
Materials Needed:
- 24 - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" squares of assorted brown cotton prints (1/2 yd)
- 12 - 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" squares of assorted pink cotton prints (1/4 yd)
- 12 - 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" squares of assorted blue cotton prints (1/4 yd)
- 1/4 yd of brown cotton print for the bottom of the tote and the top loops
- 11 1/2" x 26 1/2" piece of low loft batting for the tote body
- 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" piece of low loft batting for the tote bottom
- 13 1/2" x 28 1/2" piece of cotton fabric for interior body lining
- 11 1/2" x 11 1/2" piece of cotton fabric for interior bottom lining
- 2" x 26" piece of cotton fabric for interior lining binding strip
- 60" of 1/8" to 1/4" diameter cording
- 4 wooden beads (hole must be large enough to accommodate cording)
- 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper
