Stars & Stripes tote bag pattern is roomy and perfect for class, shopping or an everyday bag. Inside are 2 large compartments, a zippered pocket, and a divided patch pocket. The outside has 2 more pockets and a shoulder strap. Finished size is 14" x 16" x 6".

Materials Needed:

1 3/4 yd tote fabric for lining (we use 3 different fabrics)
1/2 yd total fabric in red (at least 4 different)
1/2 yd total fabric in white (creams, tans, etc. - at least 4 different)
1/2 yd total fabric in blue (at least 4 different)
1 3/4 yd muslin for quilt backing
3/4" -1" button with shank
3/4 yd of batting (or crib size)
