Shellie's Bag Pattern is made with strip piecing in a great size purse for everyday use!  This bag pattern has a zippered closure and comes with instructions for 2 handle lengths including a detachable shoulder strap.  Finished size is 10 1/2" x 13 1/2".

Materials Needed:

• 5-7 different fabrics - 1/4 yd for each strip
• 1/2 yd fabric for lining
• 1/2 yd coordinating fabric for inner pockets
• 3/4 yd fabric for handles, detachable strap, tabs, bag bottom and binding
• 1 yd 60" wide fusible knit interfacing (for lining, pockets, and handles)
• 1 yd fusible  heavyweight fleece for purse and handles
• 2 - 1" D rings
• 2 - 1 1/2" swivel clasps (for detachable strap)
• 1 vintage brooch
• 1 - 18" - 22" sport weight zipper in coordinating color
• 1 spool decorative thread (Sulky 12-weight cotton thread)
