Ruby's Easy Weave Handbag Pattern by Ruby Petunia Designs

This handbag pattern uses strips of fabric that is weaved in and out for a one of a kind bag! Finished size is 8" x 8 3/4". There are 3 closure options given: loop & button, tab & button, and flap.

Materials Needed:

2" x 10" strips of 2-8 fabrics (22-30 strips)
fat quarter for lining and strap
10" x 10" for back
4 fat quarters total will be enough for a bag without a flap.
5 fat quarters will make a bag with a flap.
1/3 yd cotton batting
1/3 yd fusible interfacing
1 pkg extra wide double fold bias tape
Cording for loop, if desired
Button, snap, or Velcro, as desired
