The Patchwork Project Purse pattern is great for fat quarters and gives instructions for an additional makeup case. Finished size is 22"w x16"h and the accessory pouch is 13"w x 6"h. There is also a pin keep which measures 6"w x7"h.
Materials Needed:
- PURSE, POUCH & PIN KEEP:
- 11 fat quarters or 35 size 5" square scraps (coordinating cotton prints)
- Lining - 3/4 yd or use leftover fat quarter's for pieced lining and handles
- WOOL Leaves for purse & pouch
- 14" x 17" green wool or wool felt
- Pin Keep Backing - 8" x 9" wool or wool felt
- FLAT LACE OR RIBBON: 6-7/8 yd of 3-1/2" wide crocheted flat lace (10 roses & pin keep bow)
- Option: 1/2 yd - 1" wide ribbon (pin keep bow)
- BATTING & POLYESTER FIBERFILL - 7/8 yd of 46" wide cotton batting and a small amount of fiberfill for stuffing pink keep
- BUTTONS - 1 bag of various white buttons ranging from sizes 1/2" to 1"
- Project Purse - 20 buttons Accessory Pouch - 11 buttons Pin Keep - 1 button
- THREADS & NOTIONS - Sulky Blendables thread for decorative stitching
- Sulky KK2000
- 1 pkg. 3/4" wide chenille rick rack for handles
- 12" long zipper (pouch)
- Fusible Stabilizer (handles)
- 2 size 4 1/2" x 13" foam core board
- Double stick tape
