My Granny's Bag

This bag pattern is by Australian designer Katherine Falco.  This super cute pattern is primitive crafts design at it's best!   Finished size is approximately 9" x 12" x 2".  Boning is used to stiffen the bag and help it hold it's unique shape and wadding (quilting backing) makes this handbag soft to the touch!

Pattern pieces are included, along with easy to follow directions. Ric rac is used to trim the top of the bag and to make a cute bow on the side.

Materials Needed:

• 60 cm (23.6 inches) of material (Inside, outside, base and handles)
• 10 cm (3.9 inches) of 5 different fabrics for strips
• 55 cm (21.7 inches) of polyester boning
• 30 cm (11.8 inches) of wadding
• Matching Thread
• Ric Rack
• Coffee, brown vinegar, and tea
• Snap Fastener
