The Mini Hip Hugger Purse pattern goes across the chest so there is no slipping of your handbag - great for traveling or keeping up with the kids hands free! This purse can be made from one fabric with contrasting flaps or use coordinating fabrics for pockets and strap.
Materials Needed:
- 3/4 yd for entire purse OR
- 12" x 20" piece for large pocket, plus
- 7" x 12" scrap for small pocket plus
- 4" x 44" piece for strap
- 1/4 yd contrasting solid for pocket flaps
- Scraps of wool fabric or cotton fabric and fusible web for appliques
- 1/2 yd thin cotton batting or polyester fleece
- Two 3/4" buttons
- 6" - 8" of narrow ribbon for button closures
- Two 1" D rings
- Black embroidery floss
