The Manhattan handbag pattern has easy to understand instructions and gives you lots of options to customize your purse!  Finished size is 14 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 4 1/2".

Materials Needed:

• WEDGE PANEL OUTSIDE OPTION:
• 1 fat eight of 6 cotton fabrics (for front, back and pocket)
• 1/4 yd cotton fabric (for short strap and sides)
• OR
• SINGLE FABRIC OUTSIDE OPTION: 1/2 yd cotton fabric, plus 4" x 42" of contrast for straps
• OR
• TWO FABRIC OUTSIDE OPTION:
• 1/2 yd cotton fabric (front, back and pocket)
• 1/4 yd cotton fabric (sides and short strap)
• Tote Lining: 1/2 yd pre-quilted fabric or cotton lining material
• Interfacing: 1/2 yd thick fusible fleece Pellon TP#971F or light weight #987F
• 1/4 yd Pellon Decor bond fusible interfacing
• 3 1/2" x 20" of single side fusible Pellon Peltex or Timtex
• Add 1/2 yd of Pellon Decor bond fusible interfacing if using cotton fabric for lining
• 1 magnetic purse snap
