The Forget Me Not bag pattern by Indygo Junction has 2 bag patterns that combine fabrics and stitching in 2 different sizes. The larger bags measurements are 13" x 7" x 3" and the smaller bag is 5 1/2" x 4' x 2".
Materials Needed:
- QUILTED LARGER BAG -
- 1 1/3 yd of denim or other heavyweight fabric for bag, lining, and straps
- Print and striped fabrics for pieced look -5 fat quarters also work well)
- Fusible interfacing (16"x 16")
- Constrasting color of thread
- Magnetic closure
- Flower embelishment (optional) - 2 coordinating 6" x 8" fabric pieces
- One 6" x 8" fusible web piece
- Button for flower center
- QUILTED SMALLER BAG
- 1/3 yd of medium to heavy weight print fabric for bag and straps
- Print fabric for pieced look (fat quarters work well - 2 different prints)
- 14" x 10" piece each of muslin and fusible webbing or a 14" x 10" piece of fusible interfacing
- 14" x 10" piece of cotton print for lining
- Fusible interfacing for straps (optional)
- Magnetic Closure
- 2 3/8" x 5 3/8" plastic canvas or stiff craft foam piece for bottom of bag
- Contrasting color of thread
- Vintage button
