The Brenda Bag pattern is a great everyday bag with lots of room.  The sides open wide for easy access to all your items and there are full pockets on each side of the bag.  If you are not carrying a lot, just tie the side closures!  This pattern is easy to make and the finished size is 12 1/2" x 11 1/2".

Materials Needed:

• 3/4 yd fabric for lining, front tab closure and strap
• 2 yds of lightweight fusible interfacing
• 1/2 yd of fabric for inside pockets, band around outside of bag and tie closure
• 1/2 yd of fabric for bag body
• 1" square piece of Velcro
• 1 piece of plastic canvas for bag bottom
