The Back Me Up backpack pattern is easy to make with a drawstring top that doubles as backpack straps.

Materials Needed:

• Focus Fabric: Two fat quarters or 1/2 yd
• Lining Fabric: Two fat quarters or 1/2 yd
• Accent Fabric: 1 fat quarter
• 1/4" to 3/8" cording: 4 yards
• Eyelets: Two 7/8" pairs of eyelets (make sure you have an eyelet insertion tool or buy an eyelet package containing one)
• Optional: If you can't find cording to match your bag colors, make your own straps with 1/4 yd of accent fabric and 1/8 yd of Decor Bond - instructions are included!
