A Day In The Park is a tote AND a backpack pattern! This bag is a handy (and convertible) way to carry your goodies in style! Finished size is 13 1/2" tall (without straps) x 12" wide x 2" deep.
Materials Needed:
- 3/4 yd of medium-weight fabric (44" wide) for the body of the bag
- 1/2 yd for the straps and inside patch pocket
- 3/4 yd light to medium-weight fabric for the lining
- 1/2 yd cotton canvas (standard 60" wide)
- 1 1/2 yd heavy sew-in interfacing (or 1/2 yd of using heavy-weight for the exterior)
- Two 1 1/4" to 1 3/4" O-rings
- One magnetic snap
- Four small rivets
- One 7" zipper
- One 1" to 1/2" button
- Small scrap of lightweight fusible interfacing (2" x 9")
